Obama Seduces Virgin Islands
All of Barack Obama’s support does not lie in the continental United States. This past weekend he swept not 4 but 5 presidential primaries and caucuses. In addition to the wins I reported here, he also won the Virgin Islands Democratic Caucus. He beat Hillary Clinton by upwards of 80%.
Unlike Obama’s victory in Indonesia on Tempestuous Tuesday, the Virgin Islands, an American territory, contribute voting delegates to the Democratic Convention. Each of the 6 Virgin Islands Delegates counts as one-half a vote. With Obama’s overwhelming victory, he is almost assured to have 3 more full delegates. You can read more here. The Virginian Federalist is updating the Delegate Count on its sidebar accordingly.
A sweep of the Potomac Primaries today would give Obama 8 straight victories since Tempestuous Tuesday.
As a side note, we here at The Virginian Federalist are saddened by the fact that the folks over at The Daily Whackjob have not picked up on this story.

I'm sorry. We've been off our game lately, I guess. We'll do better.
