The Virginian Federalist Endorses...
After thorough deliberation and deep discussion of the merits of the many candidates running for President this year, the Editorial Board of The Virginian Federalist has unanimously decided that one candidate stands out as a model of patriotism, political courage, and experienced leadership. Therefore, we hereby endorse Anybody But-Clinton in the Virginia Presidential Primary.
Mr. But-Clinton is confident in his plan to defend this country from our enemies and has a clear plan to fight terrorists wherever they may be. He would never authorize the United States to go to war and then choose to retreat ignominiously in defeat. He will not employ poll driven vacillation as a tactic to confuse supporters at home and enemies abroad. He will not engage in political rhetoric indistinguishable from the propaganda of the America's enemies.
Anybody But-Clinton defends the right of Americans to make choices for how to live their lives and to decide what risks are acceptable. He does not believe in paternalistic government. ABC does not support requiring adult Americans to purchase health insurance, but values the right of free adult American citizens to choose how to best take responsibility for their own health.
Mr. But-Clinton does not claim his spouse's accomplishments as job experience. While Hillary Clinton expects voters to think that her eight years as First Lady constituted "White House experience," Anybody But-Clinton points to his own record of achievement as the reason voters can have confidence in his leadership.
Anybody But-Clinton assures us that he will not reorganize the White House into a pay-for-play motel, offer pardons for cash, or establish a rental storage yard on the premises for the archiving of FBI records on his enemies or the billing records of former employers. He further promises he will not abscond with the White House furniture, linens or silverware and will keep the computer keyboards intact. He will stay strong for the nation and will not cry when his campaign is not doing so well. Anybody But-Clinton is the emotionally stable, intellectually honest leader that our county needs.
Anybody But-Clinton gives Americans reason to hope for national unity rarely seen during the Clinton and Bush administrations. Hillary Clinton will continue the years of partisan bickering and divisiveness. A President Hillary Clinton will hearken back to the years of scandal and impeachment proceedings during the first Clinton administration.
In this election year, when the electorate is looking for change in Washington, there is only one candidate that can honestly offer the kind of change needed. When you go to the polls today for Virginia’s Presidential Primary, we at The Virginian Federalist hope that you will vote for Anybody But-Clinton.
