Democrat Logic: Photo ID needed to vote, no; see Obama, yes
The Associated Press reports that Georgia Democrats are appealing a Fulton County Court ruling that upholds the requirement for voters to present photo id to vote. Voting is important, and the rules being protested were put in place by Congress to ensure that each eligible voter has an equal opportunity to vote only once.
On the other hand attending a Senator Barack Obama rally, while it may be desirable for some, is not as significant politically as actually voting. One would think the requirements for attendance with the One would be similarly reduced. We have evidence that they are not. Ace of Spades has a copy of the flier for Senator Obama's planned Victory Party which informs would be celebrants: Photo Id is required.
Photo ID: Good enough for Obama views, good enough for voters.
