Obama's Most Liberal Record -Details Part III

We continue with our survey of the key votes tabulated by the National Journal which rated Senator Barack Obama as the most liberal Senator. Today we focus on foreign policy related votes relating to the military operations in Iraq. All of the 2007 roll call votes below the fold if successful would have prevented the "surge" and arguably would have in effect been votes for unilateral surrender. Our format is the same, identifying the measure and the roll call vote.

Bill SJRes9/ Vote 75. Supported a bill to begin withdrawing troops from Iraq within 4 months of March 15, 2007.

Bill HR 1591/ Vote 1591. Include a requirement to withdraw troops from Iraq by 2008 in the supplemental defense appropriation bill.

Bill HR 1495/ Vote 167. Supported a proposal to end combat operations by March 2008.
