Breaking: VA Gov. Kaine to Head DNC
Washington Post breaking story Virginia's Governor Tim Kaine will head the Democratic National Committee. He will serve in that capacity part time until his term as governor ends. In effect he would switch places with Terry McAuliffe who was DNC chair and will officially announce race for Virginia governor tomorrow.

Actually, Howard Dean is the current DNC chair. McCauliffe hasn't been the chair for several years now.
McCauliffe raised lots of money but failed to fix the DNC -- he was pretty much a failure.
Although I'm sure he'll claim Howard Dean's accomplishments as his own.
